Recipe- Chocolate banana flax shake (dairy free, gluten free, no sugar)

If you are an ice-cream addict, this treat will satisfy you and keep you away from the Ben & Jerry’s aisle. As an added bonus, there’s CHOCOLATE! Plus protein from almond butter and healthy plant lignans from flax meal. Enjoy this in the morning or after a hard work out.

2 tbs flax seed meal

1 tbs. raw almond butter

5-6 drops of Stevia extract

1 ½  tbs raw cocoa powder

Dash Salt

1 cup water or almond milk

½ frozen banana

7-8 ice cubes


Throw ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
